iSenang.com is a product of iSenang Sdn Bhd. iSenang Sdn Bhd ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our services: iSenang Agentic BI and, where a business connects it, AI chat on the WhatsApp Business Platform.

1. Introduction

We act as a data processor on behalf of our business clients, who use our platform to analyse their business data and, where they connect it, to manage their WhatsApp Business communications. Our clients maintain ownership of their business data and customer relationships.

2. Information We Collect

Platform Data from Meta/WhatsApp

  • WhatsApp message content (to understand and respond to customer inquiries)
  • Phone numbers (to send replies to customers)
  • Message timestamps and delivery status
  • Media files shared in conversations (images, documents)

Business Data from Connected Systems

For iSenang Agentic BI, we copy and read the data a business client connects from its own systems. We only read it: nothing in the client's system is changed.

  • Sales, stock, purchase and accounting records from the client's ERP
  • Payroll records, including staff names and pay, where the client connects them
  • Online-store orders and customer details, where the client connects its online store

Business Client Information

  • Business name and contact details
  • WhatsApp Business account credentials (encrypted)
  • Product catalog information
  • Usage analytics and performance metrics

Enquiries Sent Through This Website

Three forms on isenang.com collect details directly from you. We use them only to reply to your enquiry or, for the newsletter, to send it to you.

  • Book a demo: your company name, WhatsApp number and work email
  • Partner application: your name, company or practice, WhatsApp number, and a description of the clients you serve
  • Newsletter: your work email
  • Your network address, read only to limit each form to five submissions per minute

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Compute reports and KPIs from a business client's own data, and have AI agents explain them
  • Receive and process incoming WhatsApp messages from customers
  • Generate AI-powered responses to customer inquiries
  • Send replies on behalf of our business clients
  • Share product information and images from catalogs
  • Provide analytics and insights to our business clients
  • Improve our service quality (client data is not used to train AI models)
  • Ensure platform security and prevent fraud

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell or share Platform Data with third parties for their own purposes. We may share information with:

  • Our Business Clients: We share conversation data and analytics with the business client who owns the WhatsApp Business account
  • Service Providers: We use trusted providers for hosting, infrastructure and AI models, bound by confidentiality agreements. Our app and database are hosted in Malaysia; AI model providers may process data outside Malaysia to produce answers
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights

5. Data Retention

Message data is processed in real-time and retained only as long as necessary to provide our services. Conversation history is retained for up to 90 days to enable context-aware responses and client analytics. Business data copied for iSenang Agentic BI is kept while the client's account is active, or for the period agreed with the client. Business clients can request data deletion at any time.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

  • Encryption of data in transit
  • Secure API connections with Meta/WhatsApp
  • Access controls and authentication
  • Regular security audits and monitoring

7. Your Rights

End customers who communicate via WhatsApp, and a business client's staff, should contact that business for data requests. Business clients have the right to:

  • Access their conversation data and analytics
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of their data
  • Revoke our access to any connected business system or WhatsApp Business account
  • Export their data in a portable format

8. Meta Platform Terms

Our use of WhatsApp Business API is subject to Meta's Platform Terms and WhatsApp Business Terms of Service. We comply with all Meta policies regarding data use, storage, and processing.
